Make
Sure Your Website is on Page One of Google
This
is an extremely important part of having a website. Your web site is a
tiny needle in a huge virtual haystack. Google accounts for 70% of all
UK searches and has over three billion
web pages indexed in its database -- how will anyone find yours? If customers cannot
find you listed in any of the major search engines you will loose
most of your visitors.
Your
position on Google is determined by two main factors :-
-
Optimisation
of your page for your keywords
-
Your
Page Rank as determined by Google
1.
Search Engine Optimisation for Your Keywords
I
can optimise your website so that the search engines can find you using your keywords, by running it through
my specialist search engine optimisation program and making the
necessary changes to your page.
Once your page has been indexed, I would expect your website to
appear on the
first page of at least one of the big three UK
search engines - Google, Yahoo and MSN - when your keywords are entered.
2.
'Build Your 'Page Rank' Service
Google
ranks every web page on a scale of 1 - 10. But it is more like the
Richter scale for earthquakes whereby a Page Rank of 2 is 10 times more
than a Page Rank of 1 and a Page rank of 5 is 10 times more than Page
Rank 4 and so on. This makes it practically impossible to get a page
rank of 10 - in fact Google's own Page Rank is only a 9 !
Your
Page Rank is principally determined by how many other websites
link to yours and what the Page Rank is of that Link Page - the
higher the better. So if you want to raise your Page Rank it is
essential to build links into your website, from other high
ranking websites and preferably using your keywords in the link
text.
I
have a service which does just that - building links
into your website on an ongoing basis. These links must be
set up MANUALLY - by visiting relevant individual directory
websites and registering your website - automated link building does not work as most
of the best directory websites have a visual recognition field
which can only be completed when a real person interprets a
password comprised of different sized and numbers and letters in
different fonts (impossible to read by a machine).
Please
note
Google
is also not happy when a website suddenly receives hundreds of links into it's website - in one go. It does
not like such attempts to falsely promote a website and websites
can be penalised and even banned for making such attempts.
Google
rewards a website where links rise on a steady 'natural' basis.
