Content Management - Update Your Own Website
I use several different content management scripts, all of which are easy to use and enable you to change and update your website pages from any computer using a simple MSWord type interface.
This includes a 'listings manager' to enable you to add or update your own product listings, and 'Article Manager' which enable you or nominated people to write news articles with pictures and video that instantly appear on your website.

Selling online means you can market your products on a national or even global basis. It works best when you have niche products - this enables your website to be more easily optimised for the search engines using your keywords. If you have a niche product that can be purchased online AND that comes up on page one of a search engine when a prospect searches for it using your keyword, you could have a great online business. All the administration and renewal payments are taken care of on your behalf and are included in the hosting service.
While many of the more popular and obvious domain names have been taken, you should be aware that there are now many different extensions available. As well as the more well known .co.uk, .com and .net there are now also .info , .co, .biz, .me.uk, .eu and .uk.com
